The Archives purpose is to promote in all legitimate ways the interest of purebred dogs. Registration is open to all dogs of pure-bred heritage.

 The Registry recognizes over 400 breed standards worldwide.

AMW is working with many breeders to develop a “standard” for many “Designer Dogs” or hybrids that are being bred for health, size, and purpose. These breeds are becoming increasingly popular in the United States. It is our belief that by breeding for type (size, weight, temperament ,coat, etc.) that these hybrids will develop a following among dog enthusiasts that recognize the virtues of their unique attributes.

The Registry also promotes New Breeds according to specific standards set up by the individual new breed clubs.
