WELCOME to AMW Kennel Club and Registry

 

The Registry welcomes and acknowledges ALL BREEDS of PURE-BRED DOGS, HYBRIDS and their PUPPY LITTERS. We provide an easy and prompt method for the individual dog owner, or breeders to register dogs and litters of purebred origin.

The Registry offers prompt service coupled with reliability and integrity .We  work hard to provide the fastest service in the industry.

The use of the word "Archive" in our name was chosen because it means a "secured place for important documents and records". We do provide a safe and secured place to register your dogs and puppy litters. This Registry was founded for the preservation and continuation of all purebred canines, and for all Hybrids that are able to be registered.

The Registry is both non-political and non-show based. We register canines both nationwide and worldwide for individuals who are working to maintain the integrity of their chosen breed without the pressures exerted by the ever-changing standards of the show ring. We are also the official registry for many rare breeds. 

Your AMW registration certificate identifies the breed of dog, its' official registered name, date of birth, official registration number, sire and dam names and numbers, and owner of record.

AMW provides six types of registry for your dog.

1. Permanent Registration provided after completing  our Puppy Registration and submitting required fee.

2. Dual Registration for dogs registered with other registries is available.

A dog is already registered with any other registry can be double registered with us . AMW recognizes all other breed registries. 

Registry with AMW will make registration of your puppy litters easier and faster.

AMW registration will provide you with a frameable certificate of ownership with your dogs name, number and lineage, showing you as owner.

To register your dog with  us you must fill out the proper form and submit with a copy of your present registration, and the required fees.

All dogs registered in this manner, will carry the "R" prefix before their number on their permanent registration certificate.

3. Registry of Merit If your dog has never been registered with any other registry and is a pure-bred dog, or you have lost the registration papers; or if you own a “bred to type” hybrid, we provide the means to register your dog for the purposes of showing ownership, and for registering litters from pure- bred matings. All dogs registered in this manner will carry a “RM” as the prefix to its permanent registration, and will receive a frameable certificate of ownership.

To qualify for this an owner must complete a registration form and submit with three photographs showing front, both side views of their dog , along with the required fee. Photos become the property of AMW. Fees will be returned if our panel of judges challenge the application or photo evidence and adjudge "doubtful breeding")

4. Registered Hybrids (Designer Dogs)

Registered Hybrids also known in the U.S. as “Designer Dogs”, are hybrids bred from AMW registered dogs specifically to produce the hybrid puppy. To qualify as a registered hybrid, both parent dogs must first be registered with the AMW Registry.

5. Foundation Registry-New Breeds

AMW provides registrations for Foundation (New Breed) Clubs. Because AMW can provide the latest in computer technology to maintain and upgrade records for these groups, the Archives give great support technology fledging groups. To qualify as a “New Breed Club” one must first have a set breed standard, (type of coat, height and weight of both dogs and bitches, weight range, bone structure, tail carriage, ear set, colors, personality traits, any other specialized traits, and any disqualifying features). All dogs bearing an “FR” as the prefix to their permanent AMW registration number have been bred from dogs meeting these standards.

6. Litter Registrations are available. Both Sire and Dam must be registered with the Registry and submit the completed litter registration form and required fees. All puppies so registered will carry the "R" prefix on their permanent registrations.
